Singer Songwriter Izzie Walsh and her band have been performing across the U.K. taking popular venues and turning them into Tennessee front porches. With previous sold out shows in Manchester and London the band successfully recorded and released their highly acclaimed single ‘Take Me Back’.
Presented the Horizon Act and Best Band awards by the British Country Music Asso- ciation, Izzie is always accompanied by a brilliant ensemble of traditional instruments such as banjo, mandolin and dobro that create a modern twist alongside double bass and drums. With previous festival appearances including the Ramblin’ Roots Revue, Buckle & Boots and Bluedot audiences can expect to be treated to their unique blend of contemporary Country and Bluegrass.
Chosen to perform at Indie Week Festival in Toronto after winning their UK show- case and being awarded ‘Best of The Fest’, Izzie braved the harsh Canadian winter to record a live video of her second successful single ‘Sidelined’. In need of a warmer climate Izzie started 2019 with appearances in Australia and their legendary Tamworth Country Music Festival and now plans to release her third single ‘Clouded Mind’ at the start of Summer.
Being described as original and individual by Bob Harris but taking influence from the likes of Margo Price, First Aid Kit and Mumford & Sons these English hillbillies are like a double whiskey in your Earl Grey, putting a kick into their music that will make your ears tingle.
